DreamSketch Films is an independent production company founded by filmmaker Samuel Haun, devoted to crafting elevated genre films that merge psychological storytelling with striking visual design. Rooted in the belief that horror and drama can reveal profound human truths, the studio focuses on character-driven narratives that explore fear, guilt, and redemption through an artful, emotionally resonant lens. Each project embraces atmosphere and authenticity over spectacle—inviting audiences to feel first, and fear second.

The company’s growing slate includes the award-winning supernatural feature Wicked Season (now streaming via Uncork’d Entertainment), the upcoming psychological horror anthology Where the Monster Lives, and its standalone companion short When Opportunity Knocks, currently in development for festival release. DreamSketch Films continues to build a catalog of bold, thought-provoking stories that balance independent spirit with cinematic ambition—films designed not just to entertain, but to haunt.

DreamSketch Films operates as a close-knit creative collective. Mark David Anthony serves as Haun’s longtime creative partner and producer, helping shape the company’s signature tone and visual identity. Katie Hibbard-Smith, lead writer, develops grounded and emotionally charged screenplays that elevate the company’s storytelling depth. Brandon Bickler, associate producer, brings new energy and perspective as he learns the ropes of independent film production.

In addition to its core team, DreamSketch regularly partners with a diverse and talented network of industry professionals and freelance artists. Collaborators include seasoned producers like John P. Gordon, award-winning composer Amin Emam, and acclaimed colorist and VFX artist Rodrigo “Roy” Santoyo of Coloso Post. The studio also draws from a wide network of freelance filmmakers across the U.S. and internationally, bringing years of experience, technical excellence, and fresh perspectives to every project.
